Who is Horse Expo For?
Horse Expo is designed to appeal to
a broad audience, including:
- Anyone involved in an equestrian code.
- The equestrian trade - manufacturers, or anyone
retailing an equestrian product or service.
- Anyone with an interest in horses in general, such as former riders,
farmers etc.
- Children and youths in the 'horse-mad' age range of 8-15.
- Families - it's a great family day out, with exciting entertainment.
- The next Horse
Expo will be held on Sunday, 5th April 2009.
Who Runs Horse Expo?
Horse Expo is organised by a dedicated
sub-committee of the Helensville
Agricultural and Pastoral Association, which has more than 100 years'
experience in large-scale event management.

The show is held at the Helensville
Showgrounds, located at the north end of Helensville
at a high-visibility site on Railway Street, part of State Highway 16.
Helensville is just a 40 minute drive from downtown Auckland City.
The 26 hectare showgrounds has ample free parking for both horse floats
and public vehicles. The land is predominantly flat, and fully fenced.
Facilities include a 525 sq.m. single span building which has a kitchen,
office, meeting room and bar, plus a large modern separate toilet block.
